Reaching out through the Check Your Date form is an inquiry, not a booking; your date is officially yours once we both sign a written agreement and your deposit is in. My pricing is published right on the site, and the rate in your signed agreement is the one that counts. Reviews are always welcome and never required or paid for. 1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of IowaEventDJ.com, operated by Iowa Event DJ ("Iowa Event DJ," "the business," or "your DJ"). By using this website or submitting an inquiry, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. About the business and services

Iowa Event DJ is a premium solo wedding and event DJ and MC serving all of Iowa, offering DJ and MC services for weddings, corporate events, and school events, along with related add-ons such as ceremony sound and a photo booth. All services are performed by one professional.

3. Use of this website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it — including no attempts to disrupt the site, access it without authorization, or collect content or data from it by automated means without permission.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by Iowa Event DJ or used with permission and is protected by applicable law. The event photography on this site comes from real events and may not be copied, reproduced, or used for any purpose without prior written permission.

5. Inquiries and bookings

Submitting the Check Your Date form or otherwise contacting the business is an inquiry only and does not reserve a date or create a booking. A date is reserved only when a written performance agreement is signed by both parties and the required deposit is paid. That written agreement governs the specific terms of your event.

6. Pricing

Current published pricing is provided on the website for transparency. Published rates may change at any time; however, the rate stated in your signed written agreement is the rate that applies to your event. Travel within Iowa is included; travel outside Iowa may be subject to the flat travel amounts described in your agreement.

7. Deposit, payment, and cancellation

A deposit is required to reserve your date, with the remaining balance due before your event as set out in your written agreement. Deposit, payment schedule, cancellation, and refund terms are governed by that signed agreement. In the rare event that your DJ is unable to perform due to an emergency, a professional DJ from your DJ's personal network will be arranged to perform your event; a full refund is provided only if no suitable replacement can be arranged.

8. Communications consent

By submitting an inquiry, you agree that Iowa Event DJ may contact you by email, phone, and text message regarding your inquiry and event, as described in the Privacy Policy. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

9. Reviews, testimonials, and content permission

Reviews and testimonials are always voluntary and are never required, scripted, or incentivized. If you share a review, you grant Iowa Event DJ permission to display it in marketing. Photographs and video from your event are used in marketing only with your permission; for events involving minors, images are used only with an appropriate release or in a way that does not identify individuals.

10. Third-party services and links

This website may use third-party services and link to third-party websites, such as venue and vendor pages. Iowa Event DJ is not responsible for the content, products, or practices of those third parties.

11. Disclaimer

This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." While the business makes reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, no warranty is made that the website or its content is complete, accurate, or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to this website or these terms will be handled in the courts located in Polk County, Iowa.
